Star Citizen confirms HDR support and what elements will remain in the Alpha 3.20 release

You want to make your bright highlights brighter and your shadows shadier Star Citizen? Then you’ll be in luck once Alpha 3.20 goes live, because CIG did confirms HDR support is present for the next build of the Starship Sandbox Alpha.

The announcement doesn’t get much simpler, but it also goes into a few details about what HDR is, how to best use it, and a few other parameters that players can adjust if they’re not getting the viewing experience they want. In other words, all in all, it’s a simple addition.

The studio has something to say about Alpha 3.20 listed some of the items that persist between 3.19 and 3.20 such as aUEC and ships purchased with aUEC, reputation and weapons and armor looted. Things not retained in the new build include consumables, leased ships and ongoing refinery work, and salvaged ship components.
