This week, Google officially confirmed that at least 100 games will be added to Stadia over the course of 2022. The promise was made in this week’s “Stadia Savepoint” post on Stadia. Key word. Google says (our emphasis):
Last month, all eyes were on Rainbow Six Extract, Ubisoft’s sci-fi team shooter. Available on the Stadia store for purchase or free to play as a timed demo, players team up in the game against the Archaean aliens with tactical and close-knit gameplay. Meanwhile, families find new game night options with Troll Hunters: Guardians of Arcadia and Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R from Outright Games. These are just a few of the more than 100 games expected to land on Stadia this year from publishers big and small.
The game is coming to Stadia
To help achieve its goal of 100 games on Stadia by the end of 2022, Google has confirmed a new title. Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires will be released on February 15th.
In addition to Google’s own words, several other games were confirmed for the platform this week. Ubisoft announced OddBallersa super cool looking dodgeball game and will be out on Stadia on March 24th. Kaiju Games Dawn of the Monsters to be confirmed to launch Stadia in March.
There is also a brief mention of Stadia on the official website for Dying Light 2but like StadiaSource indicates that, that mention has been removed. Neither Google nor Techland, the developers of the game, reacted to the situation. However, Dying Light 2 released today on other platforms but not Stadia.

It’s no secret that the future of Stadia looks strong at the moment. There are fewer and fewer major game releases, and the consolidation of the games industry makes the hope that it will get better very little.

This includes using Stadia’s technology to run game demos for Capcom and even games coming to Peloton exercise equipment. Apparently, only 20% of the focus on “Google Stream” is actually on the consumer Stadia platform.
