It won’t be long before Splatoon 3 lands on Switch consoles, with an early look at the new Splatfest already wrapped up. As is usual with a major first-party release from Nintendo, you’ll have a few options to pre-purchase the game so you can jump into Turf Wars as soon as possible. As a nice bonus, one of your best reward options doesn’t even require you to deposit any money prior to the game’s release.

Double eShop Gold Points
Our preferred available offering is also the easiest to use for most players, assuming you plan on purchasing a digital copy. Also, the game doesn’t even have to be purchased before release day. If you purchase Splatoon 3 from Nintendo eShop or Nintendo.com before September 30th (three weeks after the release date), you will receive double the Gold Coins in return. This means that instead of getting $3 credited to your account at the usual 5% rate, you’ll get $6 value instead. While it’s not a massive boost, it’s at least something you’ll likely have use for. It could even cover most of the cost of one of our favorite third-party Switch games if you happen to snag them on sale.
Physical Edition Bonuses
When it comes to the physical edition of Splatoon 3, you have a few bonus options depending on the retailer you’re ordering from. When you order from Gamestop you will receive a selection of Splatoon 3 stickers. Best Buy is offering a keychain with pre-orders (a $10 value). Finally, Walmart pre-orders include a blue Inkling plush. While none of these rewards are huge rewards, they could still be enough to entice you into ordering from one of these stores over another. The sticker set in particular could be a neat (and inexpensive) way to add some colorful Splatoon 3 flair to a Switch console.
