Splatoon 3 Nintendo Direct: How to watch and when to start

turn 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch in September, but ahead of the release of the competitive ink-’em-up game, a new Nintendo Direct will offer an in-depth look at what’s happening in the world of Splatoon. On Wednesdays, Nintendo Direct begins at 9:00 am EDT/6:00 am PDT and promises approximately 30 minutes of information splatoon 3. You can watch it live via Nintendo’s YouTube channel here.

turn 3 includes updated versions of many of the key features introduced in turn 2, as well as the paint-and-swim gameplay that made the original an instant classic. In addition to various multiplayer modes, players can immerse themselves in the new story campaign Return of the Mammalian and a new iteration of the co-op horde mode Salmon Run. Most importantly, turn 3 will add many new ink-based weapons and fashion items that players can use to customize their squid children before leading them into battle against each other or against a legion of aquatic creatures.

Nintendo will release one later this month turn 3themed Nintendo Switch. The Switch OLED model — complete with a bright yellow ink stain — retails for $359.99, $10 more than the standard Nintendo Switch OLED model. turn 3 is not included in the system.
