Splatoon 3 details reveal new map, weapons and other cool stuff

Nintendo has shown a lot turn 3 on Twitter and IDK lately if you’ve been paying attention, but everything is looking sick in the upcoming colorful shooter. There are new customization options for your character, more weapons to experiment with, an additional map to play with, a look at the Octolings, and more. Suffice it to say I’m hooked and will probably fucking play it when it comes to Switch on September 9th. So in case you missed it, let’s take a look at some of the novelties turn 3 Things.

You don’t have to go far to find the source of all this new information. You could scroll through Nintendo’s official social media accounts, but you’ll find better luck going directly splatoon North America or splatoon Japan, verified accounts posting the latest insights from the Squid Research Lab. They are sources for your ink correction that have been reshared turn 3 details lately.

For example, the Squid Research Lab unveiled two new ones turn 3 guns in April. The first was the Ink Vaca ghostbusters-looking backpack vacuum cleaner that sucks up ink and shoots it back with additional power. The other was the triple stroke of inka mortar-like weapon that fires three rockets into the air, which can then be guided via beacons. That’s just the new equipment. The Squid Research Lab went a little wild on Twitter shortly after uncovering these armors and featured them Rapid-fire “shooter” weapons, slow-moving “loader” guns, the stupid roller brushesand so many other categories from go splat instruments.

There is also the new Undertow Overflow Map. A former flood diversion site now converted into a battlefield, the abandoned facility offers all manner of ups and downs. And because those lower levels appear fairly open while the higher platforms look like ramps, I see this as a community favorite. Or at least it is one I will vote for as often as possible.

I can not forget the additional customization items, either. Do you have more shoes like Timberlands – Timberinks? – and mules as well as additional tops and bottoms for your character. There are also a new set of hairstyles for the Inklings and octolings, who appear to be very similar to the Inklings, but with “better hair”. I like to think that we all have good hair, but maybe that’s just me.

But I have to be honest with you all. While all of this new-new is cool, nothing convinces me turn 3 will reign almost as much as the new single by the fictional squid band Front Roe, “See Me Now.” The band is a melodic pop-punk quartet and this song is a bop. A cracker. A whole mood. It smacks, hard. I mean, just listen to the noodle-like syncopation of the guitars in the verse, the pounding rhythm of the drums, the nice synth drive before the chorus kicks in… and then the chorus kicks in and, uh, it’s tight! As a guitarist who grew up around metal bands and pop punk, this is definitely a song I will learn to jam along to.

If you couldn’t tell, I’m absolutely ready to release this game. turn 2 was one of my favorite shooters, a game that stays on my Switch constantly in case I ever want to dive into a match and get mad at my fellow Squids for refusing to follow the objective. With turn 3 looks like an extended turn 2it absolutely looks like my favorite multiplayer shooter for this September.
