Splatoon 3 brings back the Splatfest with a three-way twist and demo

turn 3 will bring back the series’ popular multiplayer events known as Splatfests when the competitive ink shooter launches on Nintendo Switch this summer. but splatoon 3‘s version of Splatfests, where players compete for a themed side (e.g., sci-fi vs. fantasy, vampires vs. werewolves), will have a twist: instead of choosing two teams, players choose one of three Pages. And they eventually fight for supremacy in a 4v2v2 three-team match called Tricolor Turf War.
Nintendo has revealed the upcoming first Splatfest splatoon 3 during a Nintendo Direct presentation on Wednesday. It will be rock versus paper versus scissors and will take place on August 27th as part of a turn 3 Demo for Switch ahead of full game release in September. Team Rock, Team Paper, and Team Scissors will compete as follows:
In the first half, the three teams compete in 4v4 turf battles. The second half features the new Tricolor Turf War Battles, a mode in which three teams fight simultaneously. Can the top-ranked team defend themselves in this unique 4v2v2 match?
It looks and sounds messy and appears to be a fun remix of the Splatoon Splatfest formula.
That turn 3: Splatfest World Premiere Demo will be released on August 25th, giving participants a chance to brush up on their Splatoon skills for a few days before diving into the new three-way Splatfest. This event begins August 27 and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. PDT.
Former Splatfests in turn 2 were hosted by Marina and Pearl, but in turn 3, it’s a team of three creatures called the Deep Cut Trio: Frye, Shiver, and Big Man (a manta ray). The last Splatfest that took place in turn 2took place more than three years ago.
turn 3 launches September 9th on Nintendo Switch. Later this month, Nintendo will release a turn 3– themed Switch OLED model (which does not include a copy of the game).
