South Carolina football match schedule 2022: Early selection of each match

As Shane Beamer entered his second season building the South Carolina football program, he found a new quarterback to help lead the Gamecocks.

Shane Beamer is working to establish the South Carolina Gamecocks as a consistent winner. That is difficult to do. South Carolina is a weak show and it could be a while before he can see an impressive jump in the victory column.

However, Beamer made a brilliant move when landing a midfielder that could dramatically change the way his offense works. Spencer Rattler is one of the most talented defenders in the country. However, things didn’t really go well for him with the Oklahoma Sooners and he ended up losing the job that started there.

Now he’s trying to take over South Carolina and raise the Gamecocks ceiling. It will be interesting to see him try.

Predicting too early in 2022: 7-5

It will be thrilling to see how good this Gamecocks team is, but there are still some questions that need to be answered.

Rattler is a talented quarterback and it will be interesting to watch him work to elevate a show in South Carolina that hasn’t always been super successful throughout its history. Typically an underdog, the Gamecocks don’t boast the accolades and achievements that the Oklahoma Sooners do.

Plus, overall, Rattler’s new team has less talent than his previous team.

Another thing that South Carolina will be dealing with a bit is the fact that a program does not always evolve in a way that can be observed linearly, week in, week out. While the Gamecocks can make significant progress this year (especially on the offensive side of things), they may not always look super consistent.

An early-season road trip to face the Arkansas Razorbacks will be a great test of how well this season can go. This is followed by a home game against the Georgia Bulldogs that will be interesting to watch and see how South Carolina goes on after a physical match in Fayetteville.

Taking a trip to Lexington to face the Kentucky Wildcats could lead to win or lose, but a week’s goodbye before facing the Texas A&M Aggies is a great time to rest and pause before going head to head with the Texas A&M Aggies. Jimbo Fisher’s team.

To end the year, closing things off with a three-week leaderboard featuring the Florida Gators, Tennessee Volunteers and Clemson Tigers can be a daunting task. Right now, it seems unlikely they’ll get through that without losing a game or two (with two losses seeming to be more than one), but don’t be surprised if the Gamecocks can pull off a tough win. be impressed by one of the three teams in it.

Beamer and the Gamecocks could end the season anywhere between 6-6 and 9-3. The answer is probably somewhere in between.
