Source – Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) expected return vs. Los Angeles Rams

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen, listed as problematic for Sunday’s game against Los Angeles Rams due to an ankle injury, is expected to compete, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Saturday night.

Thielen is second on the team with 64 hits and 686 yards, along with the team’s highest 10 touchdown tackles. He has played 12 of 14 games for 7-7 Vikings this season and is more than just a reliable target in the bottom area for midfield. Kirk Cousin, but also a trusted third-party and long-term store.

Earlier this month, Thielen sprained his high ankle during Minnesota’s 29-27 loss to Detroit Lion. He injured his left ankle in the first series of attacks when he was saved by the Lions Jerry Jacobs after catching the screen pass in season three and part 9.

The spacious man fell to the ground and tore his helmet before being cared for by athletic trainers. After a brief visit to the medical tent on the sidelines, Thielen checked his injured ankle behind the Minnesota bench but never returned to the field. He was initially listed as problematic for a return but was ruled out early in the third quarter.

Minnesota is still alive in the post-season NFC race and can use as many offensive weapons as possible against Los Angeles’ stingy defence. Thielen returned to training Wednesday for the Viking team, to build momentum.

“Very happy about this week and being able to get out of here and walk a bit,” Thielen said at the time.

In his eighth season all with Minnesota, Thielen, 31, aggregated 461 catches from 5,926 yards. His next encounter will be the 50th of his career.

“I feel really good about where we are,” Thielen said on Wednesday. “I have really good people around me that have really helped me out. I think we’re on pace faster than most with this injury, so I’m very excited about that and the opportunity to get out of here. and come back to play.” Source – Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) expected return vs. Los Angeles Rams
