Soul Hackers 2 announced, launching in Japan on PlayStation, Steam, and Xbox on August 25

On the 25th anniversary of Soul Hackers, ATLUS announced Soul Hackers 2 after four days of questioning from sentient AI Aion, which posed questions to Twitter viewers like “What’s your favorite food?” ?” or “What’s your favorite demon?” The announcement stream features a live action battle sequence followed by a short roundtable discussion from the developers and an additional movie.

While everything has been announced for Japan, there is no word yet on when the game will make its way to the West – however, ATLUS West has also tweeted on Aion’s questions, leading to speculation that an English-translated portal was not far behind. The Soul Hackers 2 stream introduces new characters, as well as pre-order bonuses, including an art book, the Soul Hackers 2 Soundtrack, and a figurine of Aion-kun, Jack Frost dressed as one of the the main character in the game.
