Sonic game for Roblox Incoming
Roblox’s popularity has exploded, in no small part due to the massive amount of connected games on the platform. The push to bring anime, movies and TV to the platform has paid off tremendously for the developers of these games. With millions of players turning up to play the experiences every day, there is serious potential for marketing hype.
The branded offerings are nothing new, either, as LEGO, Nike, Nerf and more have all jumped on the bandwagon. The number of released games that tie into popular properties is growing day by day, and now SEGA wants to join the action. The company just announced a project to bring Roblox its own game featuring their most iconic character. The experience is called Sonic Speed Simulator and it builds on the trend of themed simulators appearing on Roblox.
Players take on the role of their own character within the franchise and interact with the various iconic animals and villains from the games. SEGA assembled an entire team of developers to work together on this project and build assets, making it a very ambitious project. The Sonic theme game for Roblox then allows them to adventure through the games iconic worlds. You can even use iconic moves from the games as you explore. You can spin dash, jump and use a homing attack.
At the moment the game is in a paid trial period and you will need to spend 50 Robux to play it when it is released.
