Someone recreated the entire end level of Halo 1 in Halo Infinite

The fantastic and famous final level of the original Xbox classic Halo: Combat Evolved features the Master Chief driving a warthog while attempting to escape the Pillar of Autumn starship before it explodes. And now this iconic ending has been completely recreated by a gamer Halo infinity Wrought.

When Halo infinity Launching in December 2021, it came bundled with a satisfying campaign and a solid free-to-play multiplayer experience. However, over the past two years, the game has suffered from prolonged content droughts, lack of updates, and problems with its progression system and economy. But late last yearThings improved when 343 Industries officially released Forge and added a custom game browser, so more people can play the cool stuff people built in the amazingly advanced level builder. And now you can add this newly created gloriole finale to it an ever-growing list of cool shit made in Forge.

Created by KingNoithing20055 and uploaded around Christmasthis recovery from gloriole‘s big, bombastic Warthog Run impressively accurate and reasonably large. It features all the big jumps, tight corners, tunnels and gaps as you can see in the original Warthog run and even ends the same way by jumping out of the vehicle and running to a parked spaceship at the back of the ship hangar. Really the only thing this recreation lacks is an enemy barrage running around and exploding right on landing, flipping your Warthog and ruining your speedrun right at the end.

Here’s a video of the entire run played with others via Sigma Halo on YouTube.

If you want to download and play this awesome recreation Halo infinity yourself, You can find the level here on the official one Halo waypoint Page? site. Even better, this new bespoke remake also supports multiplayer, so you and your friends can race to the end. Or slam each other off the big ramps at every gap in the level because, well… c’mon, it’s too much fun not to.

Watching people play this game reminds me of two things: First, that the end of gloriole was great. And second, it wasn’t until many, many years after playing Halo combat evolved that I realized that Warthog Run doesn’t make any sense in the end. It’s far too long and tall to fit in the pillar of autumn, as explained in this video. It just shows you that if something is cool enough, nobody will care much if it’s physically impossible
