Fans are scratching their heads after seeing the latest promo video for wendy williams new podcast “The Wendy Experience”. The talk show veteran has dropped hints and teasers about her future in the industry after The Wendy Williams Show, which she hosted for years, ended in June this year.

The decision was made after months of changing guest hosts Sherry Shepherd, which ended up with her own talk show. After less than 13 years of getting the send-off she and others felt she deserved, Williams continues to make her coins from podcasting.

On Tuesday, August 9, a promo video was shared on the podcast’s Instagram page announcing her triumphant return. “Co-hosts, I’m famous and I’ll be back. Trust me,” Williams said in the short clip previously Ma$e‘s “Welcome Back” started playing in the background.

She continued in the caption, “TRUST ME I’LL BE BACK!”. She added the hashtags #wendyexperiencepodcast #welcome #back #stay #positive #cohost #nyc.

The video ended with an image of The Wendy Experience logo. However, fans were more concerned about the 58-year-old’s looks. The former radio DJ, who suffers from Graves’ disease and lymphedema, appeared with a face covered in makeup and rosy cheeks. Some say she didn’t look her best in the video, while others said she was forced to.

“So worrying,” one person wrote in the comments, while another said, “She seems different. Hope she’s okay.” A third added: “Get well soon first!!! That’s the most important.”

Despite her performance, fans are still hooked on Williams’ podcast, which is produced by her manager. Will Selby. She often credits Selby as the person who, as previously reported, introduced her to the podcast game.

During a phone conversation with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee On Wednesday, August 3, she expressed that Selby was not happy that she had revealed the news that she believed she had married an NYPD officer by the name Henry. Fans believe Selby wrote the scripted promo video, leading many to raise concerns about his managerial responsibilities.

Fans also expressed concern about another viral Video of Williams on the streets of New York City on Tuesday, August 9th. The Sun’s paparazzi caught the concerned host looking frail and confused as she walked from an apartment building to her car.

Williams went out to meet her manager, Selby, and asked, “Where are we going?” The two headed back to the door, but only Williams went in. A moment later she came back and smiled before grabbing Selby’s arm. Another man dressed in black was called to take her back to the car.

Some fans describe Selby as an opportunist who takes advantage of Williams. A few took his other profession as a jewelry dealer to the stars.
