So high results, Bandido launched GCW

ROH World Champion Bandido made his debut for Game Changer Wrestling at Too high last night’s event in Houston, Texas.

After a record-breaking, ticketed show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan, New York, GCW is back with another showcase of fan violence. Bandido went head-to-head with Tony Deppen on his impressive GCW debut, winning after a knee-kick to Tony’s forehead and a German counter-attack.

The main event saw Effy defeat Sadika in a brutal deathmatch, at one point, a laceration on Effy’s shoulder bled so much that they attempted to bandage him during the match.

You can see the full results below:

* Dante Leon (C) beat Jack Cartwheel (Loko Wrestling Championship)

* Allie Katch defeats Gino Medina

* Ninja Mack beat Jimmy Lloyd

* SGC (Matthew Justice & AJ Gray) beat Texas Pillars (Bryan Keith & Mysterious Q)

* ASF, Drago Kid & Chris Carter defeat Gringo Loco, Demonic Flamita & Low Rider

* Atticus Cogar beat Nick Wayne

* Bandido beat Tony Deppen

* Effy defeats Sadika

As we took note earlier this week, GCW announced that Sabu will have a homecoming ceremony at Most famous event on Friday, January 14 at the Harpo Theater in Detroit, MI. There’s no word on who Sabu will be wrestling that night, but GCW noted that they will be honoring the legendary heavyweight wrestler at the show.

GCW also announced that WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton is returning to the company at Most famous events in Detroit and again at Say you will event the following evening, January 15, at the Grand Sports Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL. Professional wrestling veteran and former WWE star Rhino will also appear in his hometown of Detroit for Most famous only.

GCW’s next show, So Alive, takes place tonight in Dallas, Texas, and will mark John Wayne Murdoch’s return to the show.

I would say it was a successful debut. Bandido completely brought his A-game to the GCW and went up against Tony Deppen, who I believe will be one of the greatest wrestlers out there. What a performance. #GCWSoHigh https://t.co/7zvS50JqcX
