In our Best of 2022 campaign, we searched for St Helens’ best beer garden, and The Boathouse at Carr Mill Dam – now known as The Dam Bar and Grill – took first place.

After reading through your nominations for the area’s best spots for an al fresco drink, we’ve compiled a list of St Helens’ top six beer gardens, and here they are.
