Showtimes Canceled ‘Black Monday’, ‘Work In Progress’

On Thursday, “Work in Progress” host Lilly Wachowski tweeted “extremely disappointing news” that the series she co-created with star Abby McEnany would not get a third season.

“Just before the Thanksgiving break, I received extremely disappointing news from showtime executives that Work in Progress would not be picked for a third installment,” Wachowski shared in a Twitter thread. “It was a huge failure.”

“Black Monday” starring Don Cheadle, Paul Scheer, Regina Hall and Andrew Rannells has been glitched after three seasons. Also canceled is Black Monday, starring Don Cheadle, Paul Scheer, Regina Hall, and Andrew Rannells. Scheer shared the news on a Twitch Streams on January 20 “Black Monday is not renewed,” he said “FriendZone” co-host Rob Huebel.
