The doting mom wore a matching cozy gray sweatshirt and sweatpants, while Zane donned a blue shirt with gray pants. Burgess’ blonde hair was tied in a small bun, leaving room for a cameo of her neck tattoo.

“If you’re your photographer… moms[,] You understand me,” she began writing in the caption. She then shared the satisfaction she gets from documenting the “beautiful” memories she and her child share, even if it feels like it[s] It’s silly to keep taking selfies or filming moments with him.”

The 37-year-old wrote: “The memories I have treasured forever will remain in high definition even if my memory does not. Watching me with him and him with me in the simple moments… breastfeeding, reading, eating, playing or exploring… it’s beautiful.” She continued to reflect on mothers’ instinct to fill their cameras with photos of their children while doing so even forgetting to be there.”

Afterwards, the “DWTS” star mentioned how she rewatched the recorded content and realized she missed some details. “Honestly, I thought I remembered EVERY SINGLE detail of Zane’s life so far, but watching videos makes me realize how much I’ve forgotten in just ten months. Sometimes the little things that mean so much just don’t fit in my head. I see these videos and photos and it brings everything back,” she wrote.

The reality TV star used the latter part of her caption to encourage her fans to document moments of her family, writing, “So start filling your camera roll with YOU and your little ones, even when it’s in feels silly or awkward for years to come.” You’ll be grateful you did it. And they will.”

Many of her followers echoed the sentiment expressed in her caption, with one writing, “I’m always grateful my mom took lots of pictures of us as kids.” It helps keep those memories alive. ❤️.” Another remarked, “This is beautiful ❤️ and so true.” “I have 30,000 pics on my phone. I get it 🥲,” confirmed a third fan.

Speaking of documenting special memories, the brilliant mum previously opened up about Zane’s first visit to the beach when he first landed in Australia. The video showed the dancer leading her little one, trying to take a few small steps between his mother’s legs.

In the caption, Burgess revealed how amazed Zane was with the trip and how important it was to share her love of the beach and Australia.

The choreographer wrote, “First things first – watching him discover (eat) sand, the awe and wonder on his face as the waves roll up to his feet, and the excitement of seeing them crash further out.” She said: “Sharing my love of Australia and the beach with him was soul food for me.”

Sharna Burgess isn’t too happy with her son’s rapid growth

The mama bear could look forward to capturing every exciting development of her son. However, she doesn’t like the fact that he becomes more independent as the day goes on.

The television personality used her IG Story to share a private text with a snap of her then seven-month-old child resting while bottle-feeding. He wore a onesie with a white fluffy blanket covering his entire body.

The text message also revealed that the adorable little one was watching the show “Elmo.” As can be seen in the photo, Zane is now able to support himself.
