Selection and prediction for each game

We’ve reached the 2021 NFL Wild Card weekend, and we have six packs of picks to make before things kick off on Saturday.

Fit

Las Vegas Raiders

10-7

Cincinnati Bengali

10-7

Saturday, January 15

4:30 p.m. ET

The two teams have a combined draft playoff win of 50 years taking place on Saturday in Queen City. This largely depends on who can better defend their midfielder and, in those cases, make poor corners pay. The Bengals are a bit better team with a better back four, so we’ll roll with the home team.

Pick: Cincinnati 34, Las Vegas 30

Fit

New England Patriots

10-7

Buffalo Bill

11-6

Saturday, January 15

8:15 p.m. ET

Temperatures will be 3 degrees in Buffalo on Saturday night. This is certainly New England’s advantage, but the Patriots also need to score. Can they run well enough and limit Mac Jones’ efforts? If so, the crew of Bill Belichick can make this happen. Also, will Josh Allen finally be able to play well in inclement weather? The conjecture here is Buffalo’s attacks, but the Patriots didn’t get enough from Jones to win.

Pick: Buffalo 23, New England 20

Fit

Philadelphia Eagle

9-8

Tampa . Bay Sugarcane seller

13-4

Sunday, January 16

1 p.m. ET

Wild Card Weekend’s first mismatch. The Eagles have a bright future and talented quarterback Jalen Hurts, but Philadelphia hasn’t beaten a team with a winning record this season and the Buccaneers are defending the title with Tom Brady.

Pick: Tampa Bay 27, Philadelphia 16

Fit

San Francisco 49ers

10-7

Dallas Cowboys

12-5

Sunday, January 16

4:30 p.m. ET

The best game of the chart. First, the nostalgia is unbelievable. Second, which front causes more problems for dissident behavior? Did Mike McCarthy cost his team by bad watch management? Will the 49ers get things rolling on the ground and open up big plays for George Kittle and Deebo Samuel? Roll with sadness, because San Francisco could be the better team overall.

Pick: San Francisco 24, Dallas 22

Fit

Pittsburgh Steelsmith

9-7-1

Kansas City Chief

12-5

Sunday, January 16

8:15 p.m. ET

If the Chiefs lose this game, it will be the worst loss in franchise history. Take a look back at their 62 seasons, and that says something. Kansas City is better overall and Pittsburgh is lame with a limited offense and no defenses to talk about. The Steelers can put pressure on Patrick Mahomes, but unless that turns into at least three passes, it won’t be enough.

Pick: Kansas City 33, Pittsburgh 16

Fit

Arizona Quantily

11-6

Los Angeles Rams

12-5

Monday, January 17

8:15 p.m. ET

This has to do with whether Matthew Stafford made a mistake. if the Rams win, it’s because Stafford has clean stats and they control Kyler Murray outside the pocket. Los Angeles is the better team and should move forward, but Stafford’s three interceptions and run into sacks are real cause for concern.

Pick: Los Angeles 29, Arizona 24

Last week: 10-6
Season: 176-92
