BALTIMORE (WJZ) – A fire damaged three empty homes in the Druid Heights neighborhood of Baltimore on Sunday — the second time in a month, according to authorities.
Baltimore Fire Department IAFF Local 734 said on its social media account that firefighters battled the massive blaze in the 500 block of Presstman Street.

Initial pictures of the fire showed three empty houses, in poor condition.

The local fire department was later able to confirm that those homes caught fire on February 26.

The late-night fire is the latest tragedy to hit the Druid Heights area within 72 hours.
On Friday, firefighters were asked to retrieve bodies from an empty house just four blocks from Sunday night’s fire.
Hours earlier, firefighters responded to police about a double shooting just five blocks from the fire site.
