Two of the men managed to swim to safety, but the other two were swept downstream with the utility, police said.
Police confirmed Thursday afternoon they had found the body of one of the men – and on Sunday police said in a statement they had found a second body.
The bodies have yet to be officially identified but are believed to be the missing men, police said.
The search is now over and the police will prepare a report for the coroner.
The two men went missing Monday night and were later identified as fathers Bob Chahine and Ghosn Ghosn.
Flood victims in north NSW are to be offered property buybacks or flood rehabilitation under an $800m scheme
