We all expected Sebastian Vettel to be fit again for the Saudi Arabian GP but it didn’t turn out to be the same. The German tested positive for COVID-19 just days before the Bahrain GP and was forced to sit on the sidelines. The four-time world champion and Aston Martin had a horrible start to the season as their star driver was unable to fight for points in their battle for top spots.
Nico Hulkenberg was chosen to replace Sebastian Vettel because of his Formula 1 experience and talent. The driver definitely looked rusty due to his absence from the sport since 2020 but was still able to prevail against his team Lance Stroll which can’t bode well for the team. Nico Hulkenberg will keep his spot for the Saudi Arabian GP as Sebastian Vettel is still unable to make it to the race.
