Sean O’Malley doesn’t think Conor McGregor will have an edge at £190

UFC star Conor McGregor looks like another man after going up to 190 lbs – but Sean O’Malley wasn’t sure that was a good idea.
‘The Notorious’ gained about 22 pounds of muscle when injured (which is a feat) – but ‘Suga’ couldn’t figure out why.
O’Malley thinks McGregor is likely to be at a disadvantage at that weight, but he wouldn’t be surprised if the Irishman proves him wrong and silences critics on his comeback.
“I don’t think that’s necessarily good for fighting, man. I don’t think that would be an advantage or a benefit,” O’Malley said in a recent episode of The Timbo Sugar Show audio file (h/t BJPenn.com). “Dude, if Conor is currently 190 (lbs), he shouldn’t be down and fighting at 155.”
“Watch him do it, and be as fast as f**k, and get better than ever,” he added.
McGregor is currently sidelined with a broken leg but is expected to return to the UFC next year.
Meanwhile O’Malley, who clashed with McGregor in an NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Chargers, is expected to face Brazilian bantamweight prospect Raulian Paiva at UFC 269.
The much-anticipated PPV, featuring a lightweight title fight between Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier as well as a women’s bantamweight title fight between Amanda Nunes and Juliana Pena, takes place on Saturday, December 11, at the T-Mobile Arena. in Las Vegas, Nevada.
