Scribe Proposes Big Blackhawks & Rangers Deal starring Patrick Kane

There’s no indication that the Chicago Blackhawks are ready to transfer Patrick Kane, and there’s certainly no sign that the New York Rangers and Chicago Blackhawks are even discussing the option, but the New York Post’s Larry Brooks is suggesting. idea of a blockbuster deal between the two teams. will see Kane move to Rangers and some pieces back to the Blackhawks.

Brooks proposes a deal that would see Kane go to Rangers and something like Kaapo Kakko, Nils Lundqvist, Vitali Kravtsov, and a 2022 first-choice return to Chicago. He has come up with several other ideas in case Chicago keeps an eye on other young players but this package is the basic idea behind the blockbuster deal.
He added that the idea of a “super line” could be appealing to the new GM Chris Drury of Rangers and Rangers has a number of smaller pieces emerging and could take on some of the positions held by the startup properties. act in the transaction left behind. The super line will reunite Kane with Artemi Panarin and put Ryan Strome down the middle.

Brooks added that two properties he probably won’t want to handle from a Rangers point of view are Alexis Lafreniere and Braden Schneider.
Brooks notes that Rangers have a history of making big deals, and a move like this would be reminiscent of the good old days. He added that the timing might be right as Rangers take advantage of some of their stars at their current peak. Panarin, Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad and Jacob Trouba are all between the ages of 28 and 31 and Kane being added to this group would be a huge win for the time being. He also wonders if the young prospects Rangers have in store will be able to contribute while the team’s best players are still at their best. It’s likely that those two paths will never intersect and by the time Schneider, Cuylle, Othmann, Jones and Brett Berard are poised to make a significant impact, the top names on the team won’t be in good form. Best.
Kane will have to want this deal
Whether the Blackhawks and Rangers ever talk about this trade is one thing. Kane must be sold on it before it goes down. He has a full no-move clause in his contract and he controls where and when he goes elsewhere, if he wants to.
Perhaps the question is not so much if Rangers want to create a Super Line, but if Kane wants to be a part of it.
