Scott Garland, AKA, a third of the ‘Too Cool’ Scotty 2 Hotty attitude era faction, tweeted that terms of not competing with WWE ends on December 23, two days before Christmas. Scotty 2 Hotty has been a trainer and coach at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida since 2016. In the same tweet that can be seen below, Scotty 2 Hotty described Top 10 goals which he hopes to achieve by 2022.
Five of the goals he listed in his tweet include the fact that he wants to be “FUN.” His other goals for 2022 include wrestling in Japan, wrestling in the UK, wrestling in front of his kids and wrestling on national television. His top goal listed in the tweet is that he has a desire to wrestle in Mexico for the first time in his entire career.
Scotty 2 Hotty took to Instagram a few weeks ago to talk about his departure from WWE. He said how much he loved working with NXT and how proud he was of the brand. Below are the captions from the Instagram post.
“Today, I have requested to be released from World Wrestling Entertainment. 30 years ago, I stepped into the WWE ring for the first time. I have lived my dream more than 100 times. Some of my most special memories will always be from the past 5 years working with NXT. The black gold brand is something special and I am proud to be a small part of that. I always promised myself that I would never join something just for the paycheck and that’s where I am. I told myself I would walk away if I got to that point, so that’s what I chose to do. Training and producing the stars of NXT will always be the highlight of my life. I love you more than you will ever know. [folded hands emoji]”
