Scarlett Johansson (Black widow) and Chris Evans (Captain America) are teaming up again for a new film project titled Project Artemiswhich Jason Bateman (ozark) is set to direct.

Apple also secured the project in a $100 million deal, which is another big buy for the streaming service studio. There’s a lot of star power attached to the project, and Apple obviously loved the story when they’re spending that kind of money.

We don’t really have any plot details to share. All we know is that the story is set against the space race. The screenplay was written by Rose GilroyDaughter of the author and director Dan Gilroy and actress Rene Russo.

Evans and Johansson have apparently been scouting for film projects to team up on after their time together on the Marvel movies. They came close to a project titled spooky, This is another project that Apple has taken up. Johansson was forced out after scheduling conflicts and Ana de Armas replaced her.

It’s great to see them coming together on Project Artemis and I look forward to seeing what kind of story it will tell.

Johansson will co-produce Jonathan Lia and Keenan Flynn through her production company, These Pictures, which commissioned and developed the screenplay. Bateman will produce through his Aggregate Films banner.
