“If you ask my fiancé, I’ll jump in at the last minute,” says Hyland diversity. “My packing style is all about options – sure, I pack a lot, but you never know what mood you’re going to be in or if the weather is going to change drastically. I like having lots of different planned outfits with simple everyday items, just in case.” One of her favorites? This oversized sweater from Free People.
Hyland also admits that she still gets the pre-flight jitters despite often having to travel for work. “I’m a disaster in all those moments before I get in the car to go to the airport — when I’m there, that’s what it is!” she says. “You can always buy underwear if you realize you haven’t packed them. As long as I have my passport, wallet, medication and phone? I’m doing well.”
Apart from that, she has a few must-haves that make traveling easy the much more comfortable and cozy. Check out Hyland’s essential travel essentials below:
Goneo SB charging station
“I need all chargers: portable, USB, USB-C. Whatever technology I rely on, it must have a backup power bank. It’s the worst thing in the world when your phone or AirPods die mid-flight. I especially love this one from Amazon.”
Free People Easy Street tunic
“I always have a thick sweater with me because it always gets so cold on planes that I always need one. At worst I use it as a pillow. I’m a big fan of this Free People oversized sweater.
Silk eye mask
“Eye masks are a must, love the Slip brand! The silk eye masks help me sleep through the night on the plane and are gentle on my skin and curly hair.”
Heathered socks by Barefoot Dreams
Blurred. Cozy. socks. Airplane floors scare me and I like to put on a specific pair of socks for the plane. These Barefoot Dream socks are my favorite pair.”
Sourse Glow Bites
“I always have my Sourse chocolate vitamins with me, especially the Glow Bites. Traveling can be very dehydrating and impacts your skin badly – having this on my flight not only helps my skin stay hydrated but also serves as a sweet treat! They’re plant-based, gluten-free and absolutely delicious.”
