Sam Frost reveals baby’s gender during emotional pregnancy update: ‘I sat on the bathroom floor crying’

Former Home and Away star Sam Frost has confirmed the gender of the baby she will be having with fiancé Jordie Hansen while revealing a very awkward aspect of the 17 week pregnancy.

Frost, 33, announced her engagement to former Australian Survivor contestant Jordie Hansen in July this year, six months after they first started dating.

Earlier this month, she shared the news that they were expecting their first child together.

But despite the joys of getting pregnant, Frost has also been open about sharing some of the lows.

“Sam’s Pregnancy Diary Week 17,” began a video posted to her social media channels on Tuesday.

“Yesterday I threw up so badly that I even peed my pants.

“It wasn’t the first time.”

“I sat on the bathroom floor crying… all gross in my own spew and pee,” she added, using a crying face emoji.

“Then I yelled at my partner like it was his fault.

“He responded by buying me Red Rooster … cuddling me and assuring me I’m doing an AMAZING job raising our little boy.”

In the new video, Frost wears dark sunglasses, shorts and a Super Mario Bros t-shirt and performs a hip-swinging dance move.

“Fun things about pregnancy nobody tells you about,” Frost wrote in the caption.

“So grateful for @jordie.hansen who always makes me feel very loved, supported and still very sexy…despite some very unsexy things happening to me.”

Her followers had a big day with the crude but amusing anecdote.

“If this isn’t the next Red Rooster ad campaign, someone’s not doing their job,” joked comedian Rove McManus.

“Hold on.”

“Goals,” wrote one fan.

“Pregnancy is wild but it’s worth it!!” wrote one follower.

“I’m 17 weeks old too and that made me laugh so much.”

“Love this and you (sic) so right in regards to the hidden joys of pregnancy that people just forget to mention,” said another.

“Think you’re lucky to have a partner buying you Red Rooster.”

“Jordie for the win,” remarked one fan.

“Oh love it! Not the events but you keep it real!”

Frost announced in an Instagram post on Sept. 11 that she and Hansen are expecting their first child together.

The mom-to-be shared a picture of herself and Hansen holding up an ultrasound scan.

“There’s a tiny human coming soon… everyone reacts with surprise when he inevitably inherits his parents’ odd sense of humor,” the caption reads.

“We don’t take ourselves or life too seriously and hope to teach our little one the same values we share.

“The importance of apologizing to yourself, always finding the fun and humor in all the little things, and that being kind, loving and empathetic is a superpower,” she continued.

“Thank you to all of our wonderful friends and family who have supported us during this time, you are all excellent secret keepers.

“We are very excited and thankful for our little miracle…your mom and dad love you so much already xxx.”

Over the weekend, the couple attended the premiere of Wog Boys Forever at the Palais Theater in Melbourne, a tiny baby bump just barely discernible under Frost’s pink floral dress.
