Sam Frost gives pregnancy update after accident as she opens up about hopes for unborn son

Former Home and Away star Sam Frost has shared an update following her nasty fall while pregnant.

Speaking to fiancé Jordie Hansen, the star also shared the one personality trait she hopes her little boy will have.

On their podcast Jordie and Sam’s Rural Roadtrip, the couple revealed earlier this month that Frost had fallen and was on crutches as a result.

“Last week I was telling everyone how I fell in my driveway, tore some ligaments in my foot, smashed my feet and leg,” Frost began, admitting it was “a bit stressful.”

“I’m feeling a lot better, I’m on the mend, I’m off the crutches, I’ve been walking,” she said, before correcting herself and admitting she still “limps.”

“I still have a knot on the side of my foot, I’m not 100% sure what it is.

“So I’m going anyway, it’s fine, we’ll get better.”

In September, Frost announced that she and Hansen were expecting their first child, and soon after, she revealed the baby’s gender — a boy.

Hansen said he hopes his son has a “sense of humor.”

“Oh, better,” agreed Frost, before joking, “or else I’ll take him back…no, no, we’re kidding!”

The parents-to-be burst out laughing before assuring it was a joke – and expressing the love they already have for their baby.

“I love him. I love him so much already, we are so in love with him,” Frost said.

“You know what, jokes are a term of endearment,” Hansen told her.

“I wonder, to instill some sense of humor in him, if we do one of those roast sessions when he’s a kid … I’m obviously having fun.”

“He’s going to be cute, he’s going to be loved so much it’s ridiculous,” Frost added.

The couple had a big year of changes in 2022 as they announced their relationship, engagement, pregnancy and revealed they had moved to Noosa.

“Jord and I have relocated to Noosa, Qld,” Frost announced in October.

“We thought it would be a nice place to raise our little boy.

“But we’ll be driving back and forth between Syd, Melb and Adelaide, seeing friends and family and doing little things.”
