Sam Alvey suffers ninth straight loss after Michal Oleksiejczuk TKO.

Michal Oleksiejczuk dropped Alvey in the early moments of the first round and then landed on the ground and punched to finish off the veteran to deal him another loss. But Alvey got up to just sit back down and the fight was called off.

All in less than two minutes.

Many fans wondered how Alvey still had a UFC contract given his eight straight losses. His last win came by split decision in 2018 and has since lost consecutive bouts to Antônio Rogério Nogueira, Jimmy Crute, Klidson Abreu, Ryan Spann, Julian Marquez, Wellington Turman and Brendan Allen.

Alvey almost missed the weight for his fight but was given extra time to cut himself and get under the wire for his Saturday night fight.

It will be interesting to see if the UFC finally gives Alvey the axe.
