Salma Hayek shows off her gymnastic skills in new photos

If you have it, flaunt it! And actress Salma Hayek did just that in her latest post.

This time, the “Hitman’s Bodyguard” actress wasn’t flaunting her timeless beauty or perfect acting skills. She wowed fans by showing the flexibility she has always had as a gymnast.

The 56-year-old showed off her rarely seen gymnastic skills in her latest Instagram post. She quickly struck a not-so-simple pose in the hallways of what appeared to be a hotel.

Hayek posed with one of her legs against the hallway wall and rested an arm on it to balance her head. The actress looked relaxed in the acrobatic position, proving her skills hadn’t aged one bit.

The Grown Ups star pulled off that pose, rocking a bright floral two-piece suit with black feather detailing at the hem of her pants. She paired the outfit with stylish black boots and accessorised it with a long pearl necklace.

Under the caption, Hayek wrote, “I’m waiting for spring, thank god it’s here!” adding the Spanish translation. Within minutes, the post’s comments section was exploding with fans raving about her flexibility.

One fan commented: “And she’s flexible!! Is there anything she can’t do ❤️” Another fan gushed, “Daaaaaang! She still has it.” A third admirer remarked, “Wow!!! You timeless beauty queen, you are still so flexible.”

In case you didn’t know, the ‘House of Gucci’ actress always had those gymnastic skills and once dreamed of making it her career. Previously announced the Mexican-American actress that she wanted to be an Olympian for the Mexican national team. However, her father Sami stopped her from pursuing her Olympic dream.

Speaking of her past dream, the ‘Eternals’ actress said: “There was a path I didn’t walk that haunted me for many years. When I was little, I was drafted for the Olympics in gymnastics. My father refused me to go to a boarding school in another city when I was nine years old, where I was supposed to train six hours a day.”

Back in 2015, the actress shared evidence that she used to be a good gymnast. per people, the mother of one posted a throwback pic of her younger self doing toe touches in the air. The black and white photo showed a young Hayek in the air, her legs stretched wide and her fingers touching her toes.

The adult actress opens up about her acting career over the years

Although Hayek’s Olympic dreams are gone, she has enjoyed a successful acting career. Two months ago she spoke about her career and her development.

As reported by The Blast, the “Like a Boss” star spoke of only being typecast for sexy roles in her acting career until her late 40s. She said: “All my life I’ve wanted to do comedy and people didn’t want to give me comedy. I couldn’t get a part until I met Adam Sandler, who put me in a comedy movie (Grown Ups), but I was in my 40s!”

The wife of businessman François-Henri Pinault also shared a Hollywood cliché in the ’90s. In her words, “You’re sexy, so you mustn’t have a sense of humor…”. In the ’90s, not only were you not allowed to be wise, you were also not allowed to be funny.”

Hayek added that she used to be sad about the restrictions. However, things have changed and she is now “laughing” at her tremendous success in the industry.
