Rudy Gobert has an NSFW message for jazz haters after the evening series

After the Utah Jazz managed to win against the Dallas Mavericks, Rudy Gobert made it clear that he’s not here because he hates his team.

Many NBA fans don’t really expect the Utah Jazz to have much of a chance of succeeding in the NBA playoffs this season, but Rudy Gobert won’t take that kind of nonsensical criticism.

Now, even if there’s reasonable or fair criticism to be had here at this moment, Gobert doesn’t seem too keen on listening to people who are even remotely willing to doubt what this particular jazz team is capable of .

When asked about expectations for the post-season and what the Jazz could potentially accomplish, Gobert had this to say:

NBA playoffs: Rudy Gobert isn’t here for Utah Jazz hatred after tying series against Dallas Mavericks

Yes, this guy will absolutely not listen to unfair criticism hurled at jazz.

And with a 2-2 draw in the series before returning to Dallas, who could really blame Gobert for being confident about his team’s chances in this series or even the rest of the playoffs? The Jazz have quite a bit of talent in their roster and have clearly shown they can compete against the Mavs, although Luka Doncic is back in the lineup and performing at a high level.

It will be interesting to see how the rest of this series unfolds. If jazz comes out on top and can make a splash in the playoffs, we might get even more interesting quotes from Gobert.
