Royal family: Prince Harry and Meghan’s shocking career move after backlash from Spare and Netflix

2022 has been a roller coaster for Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, who made headlines with the double whammy of their Netflix documentary and investigative memoir, Spare.
But if the US-based couple, who are estranged from the rest of the royal family, thought airing their private dramas would endear them to the public, they apparently miscalculated.

Both Spare and their six-part Harry and Meghan documentary have garnered them sympathy in some quarters, but mostly they’ve been the victim of backlash from right-wing royals.
According to a source cited by , they may have decided, with tails between them, to turn their attention more to behind-the-scenes ventures The sun.
No more books, no more documentaries about herself – from now on it’s going to be a little less self-revealing, it seems.
“That period of her life is over — there’s nothing more to say,” the source said.
Meghan, 41, recently signed a deal with Hollywood talent agency WME to explore new career opportunities.
And it’s believed that any future collaborations with Netflix will see them behind the cameras as producers or directors, not in front of the camera.
Last year, a Sun source described 2022 as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s “year of visibility” and that the couple hoped 2023 would be their “year of reconciliation” with the rest of the royal family.
But almost half of the year it didn’t come to that.
Prince Harry, 38, made a solo appearance at his father King Charles’ coronation, arriving alone and flying back to the US immediately afterwards to accompany Meghan, their baby daughter Lilibet and their son Archie on his fourth birthday.
During the coronation proceedings, Harry appeared to have absolutely nothing to do with his older brother, Prince William, or his sister-in-law, Catherine.
Back in the US, according to Society columnist Petronella Wyatt, Harry and Meghan often pursue projects and attend events separately.
Wyatt said Harry is currently focused on the upcoming Invictus Games, set to take place in Germany in September, while Meghan is socializing at social parties in LA.
“Friends of mine who live near her always run into Meghan at parties these days,” Wyatt claimed.
“She tends to leave Harry at home.”
