Ronda Rousey proud of her bruises from Wrestlemania 38 » FirstSportz

Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair fought for the Smackdown Women’s Championship on the biggest stage of all. with Wrestlemania 38 officially in the books, it would be fair enough that WWE really delivered an “amazing” event. The Baddest Woman on the Planet and the Queen delivered one of the best matches of the event.
Rousey had thunderously returned to WWE at the 2022 Royal Rumble, winning the match of the Women’s Royal Rumble. She challenged Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship on the Showcase of Immortals and began a brutal feud against the 13-time WWE World Champion.
As the feud progressed, not only did Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair exchange some stern words, but some brutal punches were also exchanged. Their match at Mania was everything fans expected. While Rousey managed to force Flair to tap out, the Queen managed to retain the Smackdown Women’s title.
Regardless of the result, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair put up a memorable fight. Both had to walk away with some battle scars. But in a recent Instagram post, The Baddest Woman on the Planet mentioned that she’s proud of her bruises and is now gearing up for Round 2!
“I honestly don’t mind being slogged at cool stuff, I like to feel that deserved pain – and that bruise on the lip is almost like reverse lip liner, I think it’s kinda cute.” The last 6 months the road to #wrestlemania38 has been arduous in a way that no one could know without experiencing it themselves. I’ll allow myself to be proud of my work yesterday, take a bath, cuddle with my husband and baby, pet some cows, play a little #horizonforbiddenwest – and get ready for Round 2. I’ll see you on friday.” mentioned Rousey.
Ronda Rousey didn’t mind being in the co-main event

Original plans called for the Smackdown Women’s Championship match to be held in Wrestlemania’s main event on Saturday. But at the last moment, WWE decided to shake things up a bit. The KO show followed by “Stone Cold”, Steve Austin’s No Holds Barred match, became the main event of the night while Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair’s match became the co-main event.
Rumors soon spread that Rousey was upset about the change — and that was the reason she didn’t attend the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2022 induction ceremony. But she soon took to Twitter to clarify that these were all baseless rumors.
