Ronald Acuña Jr.’s screams of injury are worrying

All-Star Outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. will miss another game for the Atlanta Braves.

Atlanta Braves fans can’t like the latest injury news surrounding star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr.

Acuña has not played for the Braves since their first two-a-side game against the Boston Red Sox earlier in the week. He did not play in the May 11 finals of that series. The idea was to have two days off (May 11 and a day off on May 12) that would allow him to return to the lineup on Friday the 13th against San Diego Father. Acuña did not play in the first game of the series and will not play on Saturday.’s Mark Bowman reported that Acuña has an MRI on his injured groin on Saturday.

Atlanta is hoping to get results from Acuña’s MRI before deciding whether or not he needs to go to IL.

Ronald Acuña Jr.’s injury news is exactly what the Atlanta Braves weren’t hoping for

The good news, if there is any, is that Braves manager Brian Snitker says Acuña’s knee isn’t keeping him out of the lineup.

Atlanta hasn’t gotten off to a quick start in the first month of the season and the move. Then again, that team couldn’t get past .500 until August, and the 2021 Braves won the World Series.

Ultimately, the Braves probably won’t be themselves until Acuña can play in the outfield almost every day. The universal DH will help keep his racquet in the lineup, but it’s difficult for this team to get into rhythm if they don’t know when they’re using their best player on a day-to-day basis. Time will tell if Acuña has to go back to the IL or not.

The sooner the Braves get the MRI results of Acuña’s groin, the better for everyone involved. Ronald Acuña Jr.’s screams of injury are worrying
