Rogue Company Mobile gameplay footage is nearly identical to the PC and console versions

As you may or may not know, Rogue Company will be releasing a mobile version at some point in the future. The mobile version of Hi-Rez Studios’ tactical shooter has been in development for a while and seems to be doing well. On June 16th, Development Lead Scott Lussier shared a short gameplay clip from Rogue Company Mobile’s internal build that looks strikingly similar to the console and PC versions of the game.

The footage was captured by an iPad Pro and shows a snippet of Rogue Company’s deathmatch gameplay, with a series of on-screen characters battling it out on the game’s depot map. Abilities are used, gunfights are demonstrated, and the Rogues showcase the full extent of the Rogue Company’s movement system. All of this is done with a smooth framerate and an engine that appears to have the same, or nearly the same, visual detail and fidelity as the regular Rogue Company builds on PC and console.

Other Hi-Rez executives, of course, like Studio CEO Stewart Chisam interfered with the quality of Rogue Company Mobile, but the video really speaks for itself. Unless something changes drastically in the development process, Rogue Company appears to be just as good-looking and fully-featured on mobile as it is on traditional gaming devices when it launches.
