Rockstar opens the announcement by citing the studio’s years of excitement at seeing these communities thrive and how the studio has adjusted its modding policies to support players’ efforts, then promising that this official handclap will do even more good for those playing on those servers. “By partnering with the Cfx.re team, we will help them find new ways to support this incredible community and improve the services they provide to their developers and players,” the announcement reads. “We look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks and months.”

The reaction of the whole community seems to be May be far mixed. Some players hope this means more support RDO, many are hoping for some dedicated servers, even more players are skeptical and there is the usual doom and dismissive shrug. Whatever that means, it is Now it’s a reality for these particular online communities.
