Rob Zombie announces Dee Wallace is starring in THE MUNSTERN – GeekTyrant

director Rob Zombie confirmed that Dee Wallace (ET and Cujo) has joined the cast of his upcoming film reboot of The Munsters. Wallace is awesome and it’s cool to see that she got a role in this movie.
Zombie stated that she will be providing the voice of Good Morning Transylvania, the second most popular morning show in Transylvania. The director shared some photos on Instagram along with the following note:
“DANGER! MUNSTER’S CASTING NEWS! Our good friend DEE WALLACE has joined the cast of THE MUNSTERS! ๐๐ผ Dee is the voice of GOOD MORNING TRANSYLVANIA! ๐๐๐๐ Dee is a zombie who appears regularly in Halloween, The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, The Lords of Salem and most recently 3 From Hell.”
The film follows a family of benign monsters who move from Transylvania to the American suburbs. The photo functions Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, Dan Roebock as grandpa, Doctor Who and hobbit actor Sylvester McCoyas Igor, and Elvira actress Cassandra Peterson as a real estate agent.
The film is being created at Universal Studios 1440 Entertainment Division and will likely go straight to streaming. There is no release date set for the film yet.
