UFC had recently announced a tournament for Asian fighters and the winner of the tournament would receive a UFC contract. Indian fighters Anshul Jubli and Pawan Maan will also take part in the tournament. The opening round of way to the UFC was announced by UFC today and the bouts are set to take place ahead of the UFC event in Singapore.

UFC will host its first pay-per-view event in Singapore in June and the event will feature UFC light heavyweight contender Glover Teixeira as the headlining talk about Jiri Prochazka for the light heavyweight title. Glover defeated Jan Blachowicz at UFC 267 to claim the UFC title and will defend it for the first time against second-ranked fighter Jiri Prochazka, who is currently on a two-fight win streak at UFC. The event will also feature fighters like number one pound-for-pound contender Valentina Shevchenko, former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and UFC bantamweight Rogerio Bontorin.

The opening round of Road to UFC will take place over two days, June 9th and 10th, and fighters from Japan, Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, India and China will compete for the UFC contract. The semi-finals and finals will take place later this year. UFC has announced the fight matchup for each division and the tournament will be held on a win and advance basis. Two Indian fighters, Anshul Jubli and Pawan Maan also fight in the event and both will compete in the lightweight division of the tournament.

Pawan Mann is also an Indian fighter and belongs to the state of Uttar Pradesh. He has a professional record of 7 wins 2 losses and will fight against the Chinese fighter Aili Muratbek in the first round of the Road to UFC. Aili has a professional record of 10 wins and 2 losses.
