RINO Romney Bizarrely blames Trump for Ukraine invasion

Mitt Romney, RINO Invertebrates can only ever stand for something if it means attacking Republicans he is theoretically fighting alongside, rather than against. public against Trump again.

This time, he blamed Trump for Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, an invasion that came more than a year after Trump’s presidency ended. He, releasing a statement on Twitter, said:

Putin’s invasion of Ukraine was the first time in 80 years that a great power had invaded a sovereign state. It is without justification, without provocation and without honor.

Putin’s retribution is predictable in the wake of our bloody response to his previous horrors in Georgia and Crimea, our naive attempts at ‘one-way reset’ and shortsightedness of ‘America First’. The 80s called and we didn’t answer.

The danger of turning away from Putin’s autocracy affects not only the people of the countries he has invaded, it also spills over into the United States. History shows that a tyrant’s thirst for conquest is never satisfied.

The United States and our allies must respond to the call to defend freedom by subjecting Putin and Russia to the harshest economic penalties, by expelling them from global institutions and by committing to openness. expand and modernize our national defense.. ”

There is a lot wrong with his statement. For starters, was the main reason for Putin’s invasion that the US refused to say it would not allow Ukraine to join NATO? His goal was to keep a land that had been part of Russia for centuries within its sphere of influence, and we made a promise in the 90s not to expand NATO eastward, a promise we destroyed time and time again. Putin responded to that.

Regardless of what you think of that motive, it’s still the same and the obvious “provocation” was there when Biden refused to say he wouldn’t let Ukraine join NATO.

The bigger problem, however, was Mitt’s insistence that “America First,” and therefore Trump, was responsible for the invasion. If that’s the case, then why hasn’t Putin been aggressive during Trump’s presidency? He’s had four years and could have done so.

But, of course, he didn’t. Instead, he waited until the “adults” were back in charge and let a few goat herders guide us from Afghanistan and then calculated that he could escape an invasion.

Under Trump, America wins again. Our relationship with Russia is not unnecessarily hostile like Biden has been, nor is it as weak on our part as Biden’s relationship with Russia.

Rather, Trump is tough but also tries to get along with Putin. And that worked. Unlike under Bush (Georgia), Obama (Crime), and now Biden (Ukraine), Putin does not invade anywhere.

Romney couldn’t be more wrong, and the fundamental facts of recent history prove it. However, he will insist Trump is to blame while unnecessarily trying to push Americans to go to war “there.”
