Ring Of Honor
Date: December 8, 2021
Venue: 2300 Arena, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Caprice Coleman

It was a home performance for The Final Battle, which I watched, although I don’t think it matters since the company is more or less done in three weeks. In other words, the best they can do here is hope the deed turns out well, which has been the case for a long time. Let’s go there.

Opening sequence.

Quinn McKay brings us a welcome and a recap.

Willow Nightingale vs. Mandy Leon

The winner will receive the Women’s Title at the Final Battle so Rok-C Women’s Champion will comment. Mandy talks about how she is one of the building blocks of the subdivision and this is Allure’s home. On the other hand, Willow isn’t afraid to confront her because you can’t stop the sun from shining. Willow grabs a front end to boot and switches to a head lock when we hear about Mandy’s greatness.

Backwards and Mandy dashes into the corner but Willow still struggles to find a way to be free. Something like an STF got Mandy in trouble so she collapsed to the floor. Willow obeyed and was confused so we took a break. Back with Mandy scoring with a rocket shot and stomping in the far corner. The chin-locking process continued for a bit until Mandy drove with his elbows for two innings. Willow reversed into something like Koji Clutch but Mandy rolled out. Several clotheslines and a backbone projector dropped Mandy again.

A Death Valley driver gives Willow two more hits, but Mandy gets his powers from an energy bomb. Even so, Willow kicked her away and hit a Cannonball in the corner, only to miss one. Astral Projection performed Willow because the two were delayed so Angelina Love grabbed a chair. Cue Quinn McKay to win it back, discarding the rest of the female division to make it one big fight. Max the Impaler stepped out and took the chair away from Angelina, who she then threw at several other women. Return and Willow does a super hit on a peg and title power bomb fired at 11:30.

Result: Nightingale b. Mandy Leon – Gutwrench powerbomb (11:30)

After the game, we got a big hug.

After the break, the highly excitable Willow embraces Brian Zane and promises to be a threat to Rok-C in the Final Battle.

Video about Brian Johnson who really loves Philadelphia. He will win the Title of Purity in the Final Battle.

We take a look at some clips of Chris Dickinson beating Tyler Rust.

Summary of the final battle.

The Briscoes are delighted with what Ring of Honor has done for them.

Bandido vs. PJ Black

Non-Title and Black have Flip Gordon, whom he hypnotized before the game, in his corner. Bandido, with Rey Horus in his corner, started to struggle but couldn’t get far. A drawdown to an armbar also didn’t last long so they traded roles for little gain. They traded some long legs to another stalemate but Bandido was sent outside in a pile.

Turn back and Black stomps away before hurling Bandido back to the floor immediately. Black holds Bandido because of some shots from Gordon… .but he says it’s no honor. Then Black claps his hands on him, which inadvertently breaks the trance so Gordon will hit him for DQ at 6:04. Horus rushes them and let’s do the tagging.

Result: Bandido b. PJ Black over DQ when Flip Gordon intervenes (6:04)

Rey Horus / Bandido vs. PJ Black / Flip Gordon

Horus, still wearing his coat, begins with Gordon, who knocks him out with a Sling Blade. Black arrives and blocks a DDT tornado, allowing Gordon to enter with the top rope elbow. Kinder Surprise has two parts on Horus and we take a break. Returns to Horus hitting a tornado of DDT, allowing Bandido to turn off the card. Everything fell apart and the gorilla Bandido pinned Gordon down from the top to Black.

Return and Bandido hits a frog kick for the two as Gordon gets a double partner for a change. Black is back, though, and it’s a Powerbomb/Blockbuster heart-neck jacket for two. Since that wasn’t enough, Black destroys an Apocalypse Terminator two more. Bandido came in to split 450 with a superb spanish fly, setting a 21plex result for the upper peg on Black at 6:33.

Result: Bandido / Rey Horus b. PJ Black / Flip Gordon – 21 Plex to Black (6:33)
