An Instagram Reel posted by Ricky Martin quickly racked up over 600,000 likes (far more than his usual posts). The reason? He appears to be sunbathing naked.
“Avoid tan lines! Thank you, you’re welcome,” he captioned the two images displayed. A video clip shows a blue sky lined with palm trees, a beautiful pool and a cute cabana.
The post sparked over 23,000 comments on Instagram, the vast majority of which agreed.
It also gained popularity on Martin’s official Twitter account.
Martin, 51, announced his separation from his husband of six years, artist Jwan Yosef, a few months ago. The two have assured that they will continue to remain a family and raise their children together. Since then, Martin has posted supportive messages on Yosef’s Instagrams, suggesting that things have not turned ugly between them.
In addition to touring with his music, Ricky Martin will soon be gracing television screens again in a new show. He is expected to star in the 1970s-set comedy on Apple TV. Palm Royale, alongside Kristen Wiig. It is a 10-part adaptation of the novel, Mr. & Mrs. American Pie.
