According to Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes, Portland Trail Blazers President (5-7) Chris McGowan resigned this morning. Sources told Haynes that Dewayne Hankins will be promoted to president effective immediately, after previously serving as the franchise’s Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President.

The office shaking in Portland came shortly after the organization opened an investigation into its President of Basketball Operations and General Manager, Neil Olshey, for reported create a toxic and hostile work environment.
The investigation is expected to be concluded quickly, but earlier this week, Haynes report that the investigation into Olshey was expanded, interviewing individuals who were not part of the practice, including current and former employees.
The Blazers followed with a statement of their own, which confirmed that the transition will take place on November 26.
