REPORT: Injury Nuggets Rattled believes PJ Dozier has torn ACL

The Denver Nuggets (9-9) are in freefall in the Western Conference rankings after losing their fifth straight game to the Portland Trail Blazers (10-8) 119-100 on Thursday night. What makes things even worse is that they have lost another rotation player in PJ Dozier, who the Nuggets believe will be out for the rest of the season with an ACL tear in his left knee. ESPN’s Arian Wojnarowski reported the news.
Denver Nuggets guard PJ Dozier is believed to have torn the ACL in his left knee, sources told ESPN. Further evaluation is needed today, but early images late Tuesday in Portland suggest his one season could be over.

Dozier played only four minutes before being groped by Cody Zeller when he tried to make a substitution in the first half. He ended the night with two points and two rebounds.

This injury could not have come at a worse time for the Denver Nuggets, a team without Jamal Murray, who is unfit this season to deal with his knee problems. Michael Porter Jr.’s back injury. is still a topic of interest. Their defending center MVP, Nikola Jokic, has not played in the Nuggets’ last three games because of a wrist injury and has no specific schedule for when he will return to the squad.
PJ Dozier averaged 5.4 points and 3.5 rebounds through the first 18 games of the 2021-22 season.
