Rivers originally signed with the organization back in april to enhance the backyard depth of the teams. He re-signed with the Nuggets in September, agreeing to a $2.4 million-a-year deal. Meanwhile, the Nuggets have yet to see a typical production from Rivers as of year-end, with the 29-year-old playing only a limited reserve role, averaging 3.9 points and 1.4 rebounds in the game. 17.4 minutes per game while shooting 34.6% from the pitch.
The absence of rivers is the latest health and safety protocol domino to collapse, with LeBron James joins the protocol yesterday before the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Sacramento Kings and the people in the League Adrian
Wojnarowski reports that Bones Hyland will join Rivers in health and safety protocols.
The removal of Rivers from the roster for the foreseeable future only adds to the Nuggets’ body shortage with PJ Dozier having an ACL tear, Jamal Murray continued to rehabilitate his torn left ACL, and lost Michael Porter Jr. to return surgery indefinitely.
