REPORT: AEW sends ‘many’ to tonight’s ROH Final Battle

ROH will showcase its pay-per-view ultimate battle tonight at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, and more AEW talent is likely to appear at the show.
When ROH world champion Bandido withdrew from his match against Jonathan Gresham after testing positive for COVID-19, AEW President Tony Khan teases lending some help into promotions. It was later announced that the current AEW star and former world champion ROH Jay Lethal will replace Bandido to take on Gresham.
Battle Selection reports that an AEW source said they believe AEW is sending “many people” to the program although that has yet to be confirmed. It should also be added that Impact Wrestling is also allowing at least one key talent on their roster to appear.
The show will mark the end of an era for ROH as the promotion will take a break during the first quarter of 2022 to “re-imagine” the company.
