Recruiting in the viral Brian Kelly dance clip picked Alabama over LSU

LSU head coach Brian Kelly made waves with his jumps in a video with player Danny Lewis, but a tough ending saw him drop from Alabama.

Brian Kelly’s tenure with LSU football has been hugely popular ever since he was inexplicably subdued by the cajun voice when introduced at a Tigers basketball game.

The best of all his viral moments was an LSU video released that showed the head coach dancing with player Danny Lewis in a 360-degree slo-mo video.

It took the Internet by storm for good reason.

That mesmerizing clumsy clip experienced a resurgence on Signing Day because it was time for Lewis to make his commitment decision. And it’s not with LSU.

Recruit Brian Kelly Dancing With LSU Snubbed For Alabama

He won’t dance with Kelly again because he’s going to Alabama.

Lewis is a three-star tight-finding prospect outside of Louisiana, so his decision to leave the state will be painful for the Tigers. He ranked 611th in the national tournament, according to 247Sports aggregate.

He will always be remembered for that recruiting moment, even if he decides to become a member of the Crimson Tide.

LSU may have missed out on Lewis but they still have an important day in the recruiting arena. Five-star quarterback Harold Perkins picked the Tigers over Texas A&M and Florida, becoming the highest-rated player in his class in 2022. Kelly could certainly do a little dance to celebrate that.
