Raptors-Pacers suspended, fans and players evacuated after speaker caught fire

The Toronto Raptors had to evacuate both fans and players from the field after a loudspeaker inside the Scotiabank Arena caught fire.

On the scoresheet, it looked like the Toronto Raptors beat the visiting Indiana Pacers in the first half. However, the scene inside Scotiabank Arena was more chaotic and unpleasant than that.

Early in the match, an entire section of fans were removed from their seats. And word began to spread that it was because a loudspeaker in the rafters caught fire and firefighters were rushed to the scene.

However, for some reason, the match continued to take place with continuous speaker fires. However, with 4:05 left in the first half, things got too serious.
