Woods was provided by Los Angeles by the team signed a three-year contract with Robinson, worth $45 million. The Titans need a new wide receiver after the team cut Julio Jones following an injury-hit 2021 campaign. So an agreement was made between both teams.
The Rams signed Woods for the 2017 tournament year, and have been a steady and consistent presence in Sean McVay’s offense over the years. But in the middle of the 2021 season, Woods was torn by ACL after 9 games. From there, the offensive behavior focused on Cooper Kupp and season-end signing Odell Beckham Jr. The Rams won the Super Bowl while Woods was sidelined.
During his four years in Los Angeles, Woods caught 367 of 552 goals from 4,626 yards and made 23 touchdowns in 68 games (67 starts).
As mentioned earlier, the team attempted to add Jones in their offense this past season after trading a 2022 second-round pick and a 2023 fourth-round pick for the Atlanta Falcons. Jones played in just 10 games, catching 31 of 48 434-yard passes and one touchdown.
Now, Tennessee acquires Woods, who is placed WR-2 on the team depth rankings behind AJ Brown.
