The Rams and Staffords have offered to cover the costs of Kelly Smiley, a photographer who fell and fractured her spine at the Super Bowl parade.

Smiley was standing on stage at the end of the Rams parade when he suddenly fell from the stage, breaking his spine. LA defender Matthew Stafford saw Smiley fall and quickly turned away, signaling his wife Kelly to come take care of the injured. Matthew Stafford was widely criticized online for ditching Smiley, but the Rams and Stafford’s family contacted Smiley and offered to cover her medical costs and equipment. Smiley’s photography equipment was also damaged when she fell from the stage.
