Just because Von Miller left the Los Angeles Rams for the Buffalo Bills doesn’t mean Los Angeles can’t attract stars to help bolster its defence.
When Los Angeles Rams may have lost Von Miller to the Buffalo Bills, that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world for the Rams on defense. Clearly, a talented star defender could be interested in signing the Rams.
The Seattle Seahawks have made the difficult decision to break up with Bobby Wagner a while ago and that could be huge for the Rams right now. For now, it seems likely that Los Angeles could land Wagner.
According to a tweet from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Wagner traveled to Los Angeles to visit the Rams. As reported by Rapoport, both the team and Wagner are potentially interested in working out a viable contract.
Los Angeles Rams Reportedly Interested In Bobby Wagner After Buffalo Bills Sign Von Miller
According to Jourdan Rodrigue’s The Athletic, The Rams seem to have been working on their “free reseller plan” for a while, and they’ve made their interest in Wagner known. Now with Miller and his contract moving to Buffalo, bringing Wagner to town might be a little more financially viable for the Rams.
Obviously losing Miller will hurt this defense, but Los Angeles can certainly make the situation significantly better if the Rams can convince the talented and experienced Wagner to show up.
It will be interesting to see how Los Angeles can build in the future and whether the Rams can continue to be Super Bowl contenders over the next few years.
