Raid fans won’t like the latest signs for Darren Waller’s injury

For Las Vegas Raiders fans hoping the team will welcome Darren Waller vs. the Broncos returns, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Las Vegas Raiders Offense without an asterisk tight ended Darren Waller on the field to receive a pass from Derek Carr. Everyone’s hoping they’ll see Waller out there against the Broncos in Week 16.

That seems unlikely, as Waller continues to grapple with knee and back injuries. Waller was unable to return to training on Thursday. Now, the feeling is that he will have to miss another game.

Darren Waller is not expected to play in the game Raiders vs. Broncos

Of course, this is tough news for Las Vegas. The actual offense would have been different without Waller on the field. Carr’s numbers took a turn for the worst with Waller also out. It was obvious how much he needed his massive body-hugging head there.

When Waller is healthy, he is without a doubt a standout player for this team. Time and time again he is able to score some impressive catches for this squad. Unfortunately, he has faced injury adversity this season and that has kept him out of several competitions.

After the win over the Browns in Week 15, Las Vegas still has some post-season hope. However, they had to end the year strong. Not having Waller on the field to take on Denver will only make that contest more difficult.

Hopefully Waller can return to the pitch as soon as possible. If he doesn’t return next weekend for the Colts, fans may start to worry that they won’t see the TE star back on the field for the rest of the campaign.
